Westin W6 ST5 Fluorocarbon

W6 ST5 FLUOROCARBON provides both strong and supple nap material. Our exclusive production process creates a smaller diameter rope with exceptional knot and tensile strength. Extremely soft and supple, making it easy to tie knots while retaining its strength. Low line memory compared to other fluorocarbon rods, making line handling more user-friendly and ideal for jigging and spinning. W6 ST5 fluorocarbon is offered in diameters up to 1.20 mm, which is excellent when fishing for large cod or halibut.

Fluorocarbon rods can be produced with varying degrees of softness, rated ST1 to ST5, to perfectly match the fishing method and prevailing conditions. An ST1 rated fluorocarbon line is designed to offer maximum stiffness, providing excellent sensitivity and optimal control for precision casting and hooking. At the other end of the spectrum, an ST5 rated fluorocarbon line is engineered for maximum flexibility, allowing for increased knot strength and durability. Whether you need a stiff fluorocarbon line for fine presentations or a supple line for easier handling, it’s all available in our range of lines with different ST ratings.
