Shimano Plays 4000 – Right hand

Shimano Plays 4000 is a powerful reel in a compact, low-profile format for easier one-handed operation. Made with Shimano’s all-metal Hagane reel housing, it offers superior durability and reduces heat build-up inside the reel.
S A-RB ball bearings reduce the risk of salt ingress thanks to a protective cover on both sides.

Equipped with a powerful Muteki motor that reaches up to 170 m/minute. This is controlled by a lever that can be easily operated with the thumb. The roller has both a “Thumb Rest Clutch” and a “Quick Return Clutch” that further simplifies use.
With a simple push of a button, the weaving can be stopped immediately. Connects to 12V battery/power system.

The reel can of course also be cranked manually and comes with a round crank knob that provides a comfortable grip. It has a smooth and strong brake with 15 kg maximum brake, with carbon fiber brake discs and can withstand heavy deep-sea fishing.
