Höwk – Little Tunny 76

Little Tunny is a rod designed for medium-heavy spinning and popper fishing. With a deeper full action, this rod has very good properties to effectively tire out the fish and the power of the blade comes further in which allows you to put pressure in a comfortable way. With a softer rod tip, these rods are also great for stickbaits where it is often important to create an enticing action. Don’t be fooled by the specs, this rod can handle bigger fish than you think.

This rod is ideal for spin fishing for saithe or halibut in northern Norway or as a lighter rod in the tropics for jacks, roosters, smaller tuna etc.

The blade is constructed from the best carbon fiber material available from Toray T1K. This construction results in a blade that is very light, flexible and very durable. The rod tip has a softer action to give good movement to your bait while fishing while the power of the blade comes further in so you can put proper pressure on the fish, whether it is far out or straight under the boat.

The rods are equipped with Fuji SIC MN rings. These rings have properties that provide less friction on the ceramic that reduces heat build-up under load, ideal when fishing for strong, fast-swimming fish. The reel seat from Fuji is of the highest quality and ensures that the reel is securely mounted.

The handles are made of a high-density foam with a lined pattern to provide maximum grip, even in wet conditions so the rod is safe in the hand. At the bottom of the rod there is a rubberized rod butt that allows you to fight fish without a rod belt if needed during critical situations when drilling.

Comes in a padded rod case to keep your rod protected during transportation.
