Westin W6 ST3 Fluorocarbon

W6 ST3 FLUOROCARBON provides incredible abrasion resistance and maximum breaking and knot strength, all in a small diameter. Fast sinking line that gets you into the strike zone faster – and with a lower refractive index than monofilament line, it is significantly less visible underwater. W6 ST3 fluorocarbon is offered in diameters up to 1.20 mm, which is excellent when fishing for large cod or halibut.

Fluorocarbon rods can be produced with varying degrees of softness, rated ST1 to ST5, to perfectly match the fishing method and prevailing conditions. An ST1 rated fluorocarbon line is designed to offer maximum stiffness, providing excellent sensitivity and optimal control for precision casting and hooking. At the other end of the spectrum, an ST5 rated fluorocarbon line is engineered for maximum flexibility, allowing for increased knot strength and durability. Whether you need a stiff fluorocarbon line for fine presentations or a supple line for easier handling, it’s all available in our range of lines with different ST ratings.
