Shimano Stella SW 8000 HG

Stella SW
Stella SW is Shimano’s flagship spinning reel and has long set the benchmark for demanding saltwater fishing, where strength, performance and reliability are pushed to the limit. Few spinning reels can match its combination of power, refinement and durability in harsh saltwater environments. It is built for serious anglers who refuse to compromise on quality and want the very best.

Stella SW features an exceptionally robust construction designed to withstand impacts, heavy loads and intense pressure in demanding conditions. Internally, the reel is built around Shimano’s renowned Hagane technology, delivering outstanding durability and a refined feel. Infinity Drive technology improves power transfer through the handle by up to 26%.
Shimano’s advanced Heat Sink Drag system improves braking performance by efficiently dissipating heat from the spool under heavy load, reducing the surface temperature of the drag washers by up to 100 degrees. X-Protect and X-Shield sealing systems protect the reel from harsh saltwater intrusion, allowing you to fish with confidence. The latest generation is also lighter, more powerful and even more reliable than its predecessor.

Stella SW 8000 HG
This model is specifically designed for spinning lures, thanks to its higher gear ratio and maximized winding rate. The 8000 size is a versatile all-round option well suited to heavy-duty spinning in both tropical waters and the demanding conditions of Northern Norway.
